Welcome to Creative Companion for Sharing Time. This is a collection of creative ideas to go along with your 2004 outline for Sharing Time. I hope you will find these ideas to be useful. I served in the primary for over 3 years and many of these lesson ideas are things that I used for our sharing time. One thing that I learned when I was planning sharing time was to work with the music leader and try to combine sharing time and singing time together. The lessons on this CD-ROM are planned to be used in that way. Please remember to rely on the Spirit for your inspiration. This CD-ROM is not meant to replace that inspiration, but to help inspire thoughts and ideas that will enable you to have creative lessons and effective teaching tools.

SPECIAL EXTRAS
Spotlights:
Print one page for every child in your primary (Graphic 76). At the beginning of the year, pass these papers out to the mother of each child. Ask them to fill them out and return them to you. Tell them to leave the bottom question for you to fill out. Write a personal note from you to the child. One Sunday a month you can do spotlights. You choose 3 or 4 children to spotlight, or what time will allow. Have all of the children stand. As you begin to say the clues about the person, if that clue does not fit, they must sit down. When you are finished everyone can guess who you are spotlighting. Call the person up and give them their paper. You could also give them the Starburst Treat Tag (Graphic 77) to go along with it.
